Caio Godoy is a cellist and educator currently pursuing an Artist Diploma in Cello Performance at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he also earned his Master of Music degree. Originally from Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, he is an active performer and dedicated teacher in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

He began studying the cello at the age of 12 and later attended the prestigious Tom Jobim Music School (EMESP). He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) under the guidance of Dr. Fábio Presgrave.

Throughout his career, Caio has performed with professional orchestras and chamber ensembles in Brazil and the United States, participated in renowned international music festivals, and studied with distinguished cellists including Matias de Oliveira Pinto, Ophélie Gaillard, Antônio Del Claro, and Kim Cook. In 2020, he was recognized with an award at the SINOS/FIMUCA Competition.

As a teacher, Caio is passionate about inspiring students of all ages to develop strong technical foundations, musical confidence, and expressive artistry. His lessons combine individualized instruction with a supportive and encouraging environment, helping each student reach their full musical potential while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
