My Background and Philosophy:

I am a Product and Visual Designer, as well as a self-taught artist, with a deep passion for using creativity as a tool for expression and healing. In my professional work as a designer, I’ve actively taught and mentored other designers—helping them navigate tools, processes, and creative problem-solving. This experience has shaped my ability to lead, communicate clearly, and create engaging learning environments.

My philosophy as an artist (painting) centers on translating words, emotions, and lived experiences into visual form—bringing to life what those feelings might look like on canvas.

Art has been a personal outlet for healing, freedom, and self-discovery, and I am committed to helping others experience that same sense of release through creative expression. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and guiding both my children and youth within my church, creating supportive spaces where individuals feel safe to explore and express themselves.

I have exhibited my work in both New York and Fort Worth, and after recently relocating from New York, I am now intentionally growing and expanding my presence within the local community.

Looking ahead, I am continuing to build opportunities through art instruction and community-centered events. I will be hosting an upcoming art experience for a women’s organization this May, with a broader vision of creating inclusive spaces where individuals can come together to heal, express, and connect through art.

My personal, purpose-driven goal is to use my creativity to support others and bring people together. Being back in this community, I’m intentionally focusing on creating spaces where individuals can connect, express themselves, and grow through art—and that’s something I’m committed to building this year.
