Soprano Huijing Guan is a master’s student in vocal performance at Texas Woman’s University, where she studies under the tutelage of Dr. Jocelyn Hansen. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. Her vocal studies have also been enriched through her work with Professor Mary Mills at the University of North Texas. As an educator, Huijing Guan has extensive experience in music education, with a particular focus on early childhood music training, choral rehearsal, and vocal instruction for children. Her pedagogical background includes Orff and Kodály approaches, which she has applied in teaching young learners. Under her guidance, students have received awards in numerous primary and secondary school arts festivals.
